Teaching practice
The first week of teaching practice at KPMHS Krishnapuram school was a journey filled with learning, discovery, and growth. Stepping into the school as a teacher-in-training brought excitement and a sense of responsibility. Throughout the week, I experienced a variety of classroom situations—engaging in interactive lessons, assisting with exam duties, and handling substitutions. From introducing the poem Hope is the Thing with Feathers to guiding students through the chapter Dreams Realised, each session added to my confidence and understanding of the teaching process. This initial week gave me valuable insights into classroom dynamics and student behavior. It taught me how to adapt on the spot, communicate clearly, and reflect on my methods. More than anything, it strengthened my passion for teaching and laid a meaningful foundation for the journey ahead.
