I chose Virginia Woolf as the subject of my digital album because of her powerful voice, literary innovation, and lasting influence on modern writing. Virginia Woolf was one of the most influential modernist writers of the twentieth century, celebrated for transforming the art of the novel through her experimental narrative techniques and deep psychological insight. Born in 1882 in London, she grew up in an intellectually rich environment that shaped her lifelong passion for literature and ideas. Woolf’s writing career flourished with landmark works such as Mrs Dalloway, To the Lighthouse, and Orlando, where she explored themes of time, memory, identity, and the inner lives of women using the stream-of-consciousness style.Digital Album
