The Onam celebrations at our college were a grand expression of joy, unity, and cultural richness. The day began with traditional attire, vibrant decorations, and a warm spirit of togetherness that filled the campus with festive charm. Students and teachers actively participated in cultural programs, speeches, and performances that highlighted the values of harmony and heritage associated with Onam. The event not only created beautiful memories but also offered a meaningful platform for fostering collaboration, creativity, and cultural appreciation.

The festival of Onam was observed with great enthusiasm and cultural spirit. The day was marked by the creation of a vibrant pookalam, symbolizing unity and creativity, along with traditional attire that highlighted Kerala’s rich heritage. Students actively participated in cultural performances and games, which not only brought joy but also strengthened the bond of togetherness. The celebration beautifully reflected the essence of Onam while providing a meaningful experience of cultural learning and collaboration.

The day was filled with meaningful moments as I took part in various school activities. I helped in serving the noon meal to the students, which gave me a chance to interact with them beyond the classroom. The children were actively engaged in group study sessions, preparing for their exams with great enthusiasm and teamwork. Along with these activities, I also carried out my exam duty, ensuring that the students wrote their papers with focus and discipline. Altogether, it was a day of service, guidance, and shared learning.

Over the course of Days 15 to 18 of my teaching practice, I was able to experience a balance between academic sessions and extracurricular duties that shaped my growth as a teacher trainee.The Independence Day preparations, including placard making and election duties in class 6B, gave me opportunities to see how schools instill leadership, creativity, and responsibility in students beyond the textbooks. Each day added a new dimension to my journey—whether it was managing discipline, encouraging participation, or refining my teaching based on feedback—which made this phase a meaningful and enriching learning experience.

KPMHS School celebrated Independence Day with vibrant enthusiasm, showcasing the spirit of patriotism through colorful cultural performances, a lively parade, and creative awareness rallies. Students dressed in traditional and thematic costumes, depicting national heroes and cultural heritage, while spreading messages on social awareness through placards. The event brought together the entire school community in a joyful display of unity, respect for freedom, and pride in the nation’s rich traditions.

From Day 10 to Day 14, my school internship journey unfolded with a mix of engaging classroom sessions and vibrant extracurricular activities. The days were filled with note-giving, discussion sessions, and active student participation, although occasional absenteeism was noticed due to ongoing school events. Outside the classroom, the campus buzzed with energy—NCC cadets in uniform rehearsing drills, students practising martial arts, and others immersed in sports under the warm Kerala sun. These moments reflected the school’s holistic approach, balancing academics with physical, cultural, and leadership development. Each day offered a chance to connect with students in different learning environments, making the experience both dynamic and enriching.

A significant academic event, the National Seminar on Life Skills in Daily Life, was held on August 9th, 2025, at the Seminar Hall, PTM Campus, as seen in the event poster featuring Dr. A. Radhakrishnan Nair. Simultaneously, a commemoration event was held for Dr. C. P. Sreekantan Nair at the EDU-Theatre on the same date, highlighting the diverse activities that took place within the PTM Group of Institutions in Maruthoorkonam, Kottukal, Balaramapuram.

A conscientization programme on Drug Abuse and Health Awareness was successfully conducted at KPMHS School for class 9C, where students actively participated with great enthusiasm. The session aimed to create awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to promote the importance of maintaining a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. Through detailed slide discussions, interactive talks, and engaging activities, students gained valuable insights and developed a strong sense of responsibility toward their well-being. Beginning on July 28, my teaching journey unfolded with a variety of classroom experiences that shaped my perspective as a teacher. Substitution periods allowed me to explore different student groups, provide general activities, and observe their diverse learning needs. Whether it was teaching meanings, distributing notes, or conducting reading sessions, I gradually built confidence and adaptability. I also assisted in serving the noon meal, which allowed me to bond with students beyond the classroom.
