Second Phase of Teaching Practice
The second phase of my teaching practice began with renewed enthusiasm and confidence, as I stepped back into the familiar classroom environment. The initial days were filled with engaging lessons, revision sessions, and interactive activities across different classes. Teaching chapters like “Waiting for Rain” and guiding students through note discussions and textbook activities helped me strengthen my instructional skills and classroom rapport. Each period brought fresh learning experiences, from conducting academic sessions to assisting in cultural preparations for the upcoming Kalolsavam, all of which enriched my role as a trainee teacher.
These four days reminded me that effective teaching is not just about lesson delivery, but about connecting, inspiring, and adapting to the needs of every learner. Participating in noon meal service, handling substitution periods, and organizing classroom activities allowed me to grow both professionally and personally. The blend of academic and co-curricular experiences made the beginning of Phase 2 truly meaningful, reaffirming my passion for teaching and my commitment to continuous growth as an educator.
